new white 2018 Subaru Outback 3.6 Touring, with optional body side moldings, wheel arch moldings etc. Aftermarket 2" trailer hitch with brake light and hitch ball stop people from running into the rear bumper. Traded in the brillaint brown 2017 2.5 Outback Touring for this because the audio, blind spot is much better, the car is quieter (not quiet, but quieter) and ther 6 cyl is smoother than the 4 cyl but less MPG). |

and here is some biographical information
This is a car site, so here is my car history... current: Bought 2017 Outback 2.5i Touring, brilliant brown color June 2017. Ordered the car in May 2017, with remote start, wheel arch molding, side molding, footwell lighting, splash guards etc etc. Mostly wanted the Touring because I love the brown leather interior and chrome exterior trim. Would have liked the Tungsten exterior but it wasn't available so went for the brilliant brown instead and it was a good choice. Like this car a lot. Added an aftermarket 2" trailer hitch. Traded in the tungsten 2014 Outback Limited. Bought November 2015 Crosstrek Limited, hyperblue with eyesight and navigation. Traded in the 2013 silver Crosstrek Bought November 2014 2014 Outback 2.5i Limited, tungsten color, ordered with the Accessory Value Package (wheel arch and side moldings, splash guards, rear bumper cover, seatback protector), interior illumination kit, front hood protector, alarm upgrade Bought December 2012 2013 Crosstrek Limited, ice silver, with crossbars, rear bumper cover, hood protector, side moldings. silver 2002 Impreza Outback Sport we bought it new in 2003, sold it Feb 2014 a 96 Miata summer car, an 2002 Ranger 2wd, and an 84 Mazda truck that just sits collecting dust. Honda Accord LX 4 door, manual transmission, silver. A really solid commuter car that I drove for a while, and sold in 2012. Way back machine: 1st car was a 1972 Chevy Nomad station wagon. 6 cylinder ( I remember really terrible fuel economy and no power whatsoever), automatic transmission, no a/c, manual crank windows, am radio. That car carried me (and others) through a lot of adventures, from Brooklyn to Albuquerque, and we ended up in Santa Cruz in 1975. It replaced with a mutli-colored 1971 Datsun pick-up in 1976. I built a camper for with curtains etc. The car had a manual choke. 4 speed manual transmission but 4th geat was only good for highway cruising. No power anything. After years of hard use in Santa Cruz and then San Francisco, it ran fine but the rear bumper was a 4x4, the front bumper was moved back from parking bumps, and there was no radio or cassette player because it was too easy to break in and steal so I quit replacing it, and it had red, green, and white body panels but I really liked that truck. The Datsun truck was hit by a Chevy Apache in 83 and I got a beige 1974 Dodge Dart sedan, slant 6 The Dart was really boring and leaked water down the left wiper arm and dripped on my ankle. There a flat spot on the flywheel that ate starters so I got good at replacing them. In the early 80s I had a MG Midget which I should have kept (oh well, but it needed constant tuning and tinkering) and a big '68 Oldsmobile with no exhaust that was really fun to cruise around in. I sold the Oldsmobile for $50. In 83 I got a 1970 Buick Skylark convertible with a 350 V-8. Great car, really liked it and maybe it is still out there someplace. Was medium light blue, It was bad in Seattle weather so the Buick was replaced with my 1st new car, a 1987 Toyota 4Runner SR5 which way too under-powered, and so that was replaced by a 1990 Taurus, which was replaced but a 1990 Legacy in 2001. The only person who wanted the Taurus was my insurance agent's Mom. In 1989 bought a 1984 Mazda B2000 PU which I still have with only 66,000 miles Sold the Legacy wagon in 2004. Bought a green 2001 Outback LL Bean in 2002, sold it in 2009. Bought a silver Accord LX manual in 2007, sold it in 2013 I try to stay in contact with my customers and used to send a newsletter a few times each year.
