continues Tim Colbeck has been appointed sales VP. He was VP for Subaru's
Mid-Atlantic Region. Tim Mahoney has rejoined Subaru as Senior
VP and Chief Marketing Officer starting June 26, and is responsible for
the regional sales offices, field operations, and sales operations. Both
executive positions will report to Tom Doll, Executive VP and CFO. "Subaru
of America is in an enviable position in the auto industry right now -
the company is growing and our brand equity is on the rise," said Kunio
Ishigami, Chairman, President and CEO, SoA and "I believe we have the right
management team in place to reach our sales objectives and continue to

company Fugi Heavy Industries. Ikuo Mori will take over as President and
CEO starting late June. Mori was head of manufacturing at Subaru of Indiana

served in the position for the last 5 years. April 27 Fred
Adcock who was SoA Exec VP and the top guy for sales, marketing, planning
etc, resigned and will join Nissan as Atlantic regional director. In March
when Bill Cyphers, exec VP for sales stepped aside and became VP for SoA
regional distributors in the NE, Fred Adcock briefly took over for Cyphers
until Tim Colbeck took the position mid April. Fred Adcock's jobs will
be done by Thomas Doll, currently exec VP chief financial officer and Hidetoshi
Kobayashi, exec VP. March 31 Bill Cyphers, sales VP is now
VP for independent distributors in the North East, New England, and Hawaii.
Fred Adcock, executive sales VP takes over for Cyphers. Ad director Tim
Bennett leaves, he's been with Subaru since 1990 and pioneered Subaru's
successful niche, gay and lesbian marketing.

Ford wwants to sell , 500,000 all-wheel-drives a year, on the Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ sedans, and later on other crossovers.
