STI Coil Springs are specifically tuned for street performance and are
approximately 25 percent stiffer than the stock springs. Vehicle ride height
is also reduced by about 10mm. The lower center of gravity and reduced
body roll results in noticeably improved handling. While the STI Springs
have been developed specifically for the 2008 WRX models, the springs also
have application to all 2008 Impreza 4 and 5 door models, excluding the
STI. The STI Coil Springs are covered under the 3-Year, 36,000 mile Genuine
Subaru Accessory Parts Warranty, and may be installed by the dealer.

taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries
in a crash of this severity..' more

VDC (vehicle dyanmics control) is Subaru's electronic stability control system that monitors wheel spin, brakes, steering angle, and yaw. If the vehicle's intended path is not where the vehicle is going, VDC applies brakes and/or reduces engine power to help control vehicle. With off switch. Towing | Towing a
trailer- is not recommmended with an Impreza and no factory trailer
is available. Unofficially, if you are going to tow with an Impreza anyway,
check and maintain all fluids and tune-up specs, and keep weight and speeds
down, and of course have a reputable hitch installer install it on your
car. Warranties might be affected by towing.
Towing the car- a
flatbed is always recommended when towing your Subaru. A manual transmission
can be towed with all wheels on the ground behind a tow truck or motorhome
for example, but never with just 2 wheels on the ground.
